Are you actually logging out by clicking on the "logout" button (not sure what kind of device you're using), or are you just shutting down your browser or your device?
As long as there is no direct association between your screen name and your real-life name, there shouldn't be any privacy concerns. I believe the information about who is logged in, number of posts, etc. is commonly displayed on discussion forums as a convenience to members, but the point is, it shows only screen names. Unless you really care about whether people can see whether "pt" is logged in, it shouldn't be an issue. There's no way to track the "real you" through your screen name.
