Hey Jude, I've been following your progress and are wondering how you are going? If you can make it to 10 days the withdrawals will be totally over physically and then its just the mental addiction that keeps the cravings going. Let us know.

Hi Jude
Good for you to get back to staying sober. There is no other way, really. Most of people here have had to try many times. I am 10 weeks into it. My slip before was after 3 months sober. There is no shame, and failure is just another opportunity to quit and succeed. What is the alternative? Drinking ourselves to poor health and premature death? You mentioned that you quit before in 2010. I don't know how long your sobriety lasted, but I imagine you have a lot of experience to draw on. All you need is the motivation to continue and not to give up giving up.

Hi, Quitat54. I am 52. I was sober for 15 weeks in 2013 with the help of rehab. I broke when I moved from rehab into supported housing. It's such a wonder I was never caught but other clients in the building were also using, mainly drugs though. Congratulations on 10 weeks. You must feel better physically?

Hi again, Jude. Glad you are staying in touch with the forum despite struggling. We are a very non judgmental bunch here. We have all either been there or still are. Stay strong, Jude !
