Hey Kim Congratulations on one month!! You should be proud of yourself. It's a major accomplishment. If you think back on what it took to get here, you will realize that all that struggle and work will never have to be repeated again. All you have to do is not drink booze. You already proved you could do it. I'm so happy for you. Keep on walkin Brett

Kim, I'm a little late here but congratulations! You've got it this time. Just remember that there will still be a few temptations to come, but always remember the personal strength it took for you to get to this point and know that you can overcome any temptation to drink. Mark/Jeyu

Thanks Brett and Jeyu for your messages of support. It feels awesome to have reached one month. The first two weeks were the hardest. My energy has returned. I bought a pruning electric saw yesterday as a small gum tree fell into my yard. That kept me amused sawing it up. Brett id love to c your photos of Thailand. Are u wearing black for the kings death? Only joking! I still cant reply so setting up a new email address soon. Its back to the garden time before the 35 degree heat hits. Hope everyone has a great day.

Hey Everyone, Thanks for all the messages of support. Im two months today minus a slip of two cans so not really two months but I need to keep the momentum going. It was horrible going in for the two cans, degraded i felt. So maybe i am cured lol I know you are never cured.
Still get stomach pain which is annoying. trying to eat veges but they are a bit hard to digest.
Im now on three diabetes pills to keep my sugar under control. Drinking downs your blood sugar the next day so mine is now crazy. I had not bothered to check it which was stupid and i could have died.
I still get minor temptations to drink and just down water instead. Not much else to report.
Thanks Pam and J. Hope all is well with u both.

Hey Kim, All is well. Two months in . . . you're doing just fine. Glad you were diagnosed and are being treated for your stomach pain. Hope with trial and error you can figure out which cooked veggies are best for you. How's your garden progressing? Are you still out and about walking? You've got wonderful summer weather. I'm so jealous. We're holding our breath waiting for the first snowfall of the season. Take care and keep your momentum going . . . Pam

Hope you've had a pleasant start to the new year. Pam ***Just checked your weather before writing. 77 degrees - Trade you a bit of snow for just a bit of your sunshine. I'm just writing again as it is the 2nd week of January and I hope your routine (especially, the gardening) is going well. I don't know if you bother reading the site anymore, however, I just wanted you to know that I hope all is well (sobriety, classes, etc.) and your day to day is pleasant and filled with peace. Pam

Thanks for the concern Quit. Not really going well but moved on to another forum and left this one in my past. Sorry if that sounds harsh. Glad to hear you are going so well.
