It's that time folks! Tommy Rosen's amazing FREE on-line video conference is happening now. Today is Day 2. The interviews with various folks in the field of recovery and addiction (usually around five per day) are available free for 24 hours. So today's interviews can be viewed until 6am Pacific tomorrow. I highly recommend this conference. I glean so much from it. My favourite interview so far was with Rolf Gates (recovering alcoholic and yoga teacher). One doesn't need to be a yogi to learn from this guy. Here's the link (just need to register with name and email and Tommy doesn't send spam) recovery2point0conference.com/feb2016-day2/When I have time, I'll visit more often. I miss this ol' place and many of you here. Take care, Blue

I too highly recommend the above conference...last year's was wonderful as I expect this one to be. Dr Gabore Mate was brilliant as usual, he always touches my heart with his sincerity. It's so easy to access and free to all ... nothing to lose heh ?

I also love Gabor Mate, but I lean more towards the scientific diseased brain model rather than focusing on trauma, although it's all part of addiction. This conference is truly amazing. I'm glad you're enjoying it too, Jenn. Blue

Hey Blue, Had a chance to listen to the conference today and it sounds really great. Thanks so much for providing that link for us. It means a lot to me. Kim, I'm glad you got a chance to listen, but sadly the videos were only free until midnight last night. The conference with all the video interviews of all the speakers can be bought for $97, which is a great price, and I think rehabs, recovery groups etc.. usually buy it, but I don't. I would if I had the money to spare though because I like to listen to the interviews over and over again. Because you've missed most of the great speakers, you can take a look at the names in my last post, and maybe Google their websites. Hope you're keeping well and studying hard. Blue
