Yep I know about projection. Learned about it in Psychology 101. It could be you are right. It also could be that you’re just as you appear to be. Someone that has nothing better to do than call other people’s sobriety in to question because you don’t approve of how they may have gotten there if it wasn’t through AA. Not sure where that approach fits with the AA program. Anyway, there’s no discussing anything with you. Not really. You speak of humility but I don’t sense that in you at all.
And you butchered that saying about disliking in others...but I see your point.

You're right, I am not open to discussion, only truth. Discussion is rife with opinions which hide the simple truths you hope to conflate and obfuscate! Also, you hurt others by narcissisticly pretending to be something you are obviously not!

It takes humility, lots and lots of it, to get sober”

Hello everyone,
just thought i would would pop in and get my Tutes n Tassie back to what it’s suppose to be about. PJ thanks for popping in, yes penguin and I have both worked our butts off and hopefully will start to see good results.
our cafe is doing very well, liquor and food going well with tourists. I have more room now to display more art but unfortunately I haven’t had time to do any, hopefully when winter comes around and we slow down I will be able to amaze myself.
the weather has been great, lots of people from all over the world. I must start a visitors book, soon. :-)
i took a visitor from queensland over over to golf course called Barnbougle in Tasmania if anyone is interested in golf take a look at this golf course OMG it’s right on the water about 40 minutes from my place and it’s right on the water, it’s spectacular. So worth seeing.
we had to dig a big hole in our back yard as the cafe has grown so has all the plumbing that needs to keep up with the demand. My dogs have not been happy. Excavations work, lots of noise and we had to tie them up. But it’s nearly finished but I don’t think my lawn will ever be the same again.
i hope everyone is well.
will pop in again soon.
love tutu

Merry Christmas everyone.
its Christmas Eve here and we are having a big party here for 20 people. So hubby and I have been planning and preparing this for weeks, it seems like months though.
as most of you know I don’t like Christmas, find it a very sad time. This year with the cafe extensions a few people asked us would we be able to host a Christmas Day party, I wasn’t too keen but hubby thought it was a brilliant idea, so here we are it’s 10 pm Christmas Eve and we have just stopped for a breather.
the weather here should be perfect, Tasmania has such beautiful weather. Our mainland has been having terrible weather, hot, humid and storms, but down under we just have it perfect.
so I thought I would pop in and wish you all a very happy Christmas Day and I will check in after it’s all over and let you know how it went.
if you are having a quiet day go visit a neighbor, go for a walk and stop and talk to someone. Anything to help ease the pain of a sad Christmas.
love Angelina

I thought will I’m logged in trying to find a post of a newbie I would write something here as well.
I’m nearly 5 years sober. I got an email from Jeyu who asked me was it coming up in March, and yes it is.
All is going well here. Cafe is doing very well. I also got a visit from a couple from Michigan who were on their honeymoon and my dear friend Sparrow told them to drop in and see me and have some of our delicious food. So they did. It was so awesome to meet someone who was friends with Sparrow. We took some pictures just to prove it.
I have sold quite a few painting, and I am hoping this winter to have my own art room up and running and do some more art.
Hope everyone is well and enjoying getting older:-).
Angelina.

Thanks for the update Tutes. I only log on to read them. Congratulations on nearly five years. Time flies by. My neighbour ended up dying of cancer last July. So that's my update.
